Clinical Cases
How to use these pages
The following set of pages is each dedicated to a particular clinical case which one might encounter in a clinical examination station such as a finals OSCE or MRCP PACES.
Each follows a similar structure: an outline of the relevant positive findings, followed by a set of 'viva' style questions commonly encountered, such as the relevant differential diagnoses, investigations and management plan.
An often neglected set of skills when preparing for a practical exam is the art of putting a set of findings together and presenting them in a logical way (under pressure). The idea is that one can practice presenting the relevant findings for each case whilst having to synthesise the information into a unifying and differential diagnosis, prior to a viva on the topic. Each question can be toggled to reveal a model answer.
